Structural Steel – Assembly of steel components into various truss shapes, including beams, channels, angles, and plates. Must pass a math test. Must pass weld certification (CWB) test within 30 days. Some light stick welding possible. Must understand reading blueprints and have good problem solving (aka SOLUTION SEEKING) skills. Be able to operate overhead crane safely and lift moderate weight with no trouble. Experienced with forklift operation preferred but not required. Familiar with and understanding lean-Six Sigma production concepts can be a big plus.
