Welcome back to school! 

Whether you have a child or sibling returning to the classroom, or whether you are a parent, student, or teacher yourself, this is certainly an eventful time of year! 

I remember when I was in elementary school, I couldn’t wait to go shopping for school supplies. 

Although, who am I kidding? I still enjoy perusing the rows of brightly colored notebooks, browsing the different types of pens and pencils, and possibly picking up another pack of colored pencils. (Do I need them? Probably not…) However, as the years carry on, I realize that my family already has quite a lot of the supplies we need. Learning can be such a wonder filled adventure.   While knowledge alone is not necessarily all powerful…  using the knowledge in a constructive way certainly can be fulfillingly COOL!  

School is defined as any institution at which instruction is given in a particular discipline…  and what they don’t always say is the discipline of LEARNING is an invaluable INSTRUCTION in and of itself.  As we grow and strengthen our “muscles” to learn – the possibilities for our individual and collective journeys grow exponentially!!  School is like a GYM for our grey matter!  And with the right perspective and context – SCHOOL IS COOL!

Unfortunately, or not – in this day of INFORMATION OVERLOAD – it is critical to have a knack for discernment, recognition, awareness, retrieval, and ‘use” …  AKA – ORGANIZATION – which is the action of organizing things into a structured “order” for easy use/access – (and/or) with a body of people having a similar purpose… 

We all pretty much have the potential to access almost any information.  And with a good muscle for discernment, we should be able to come up with the most practical, relevant, and serving solutions. 

Often what we don’t have is a solid organizational system. 

How excellent would it be to be able to walk into a “room” and see exactly what resources are available? Not only that, but what if that storage space could also double as a study space, a thinking space, a reflection space, a planning to GET IT DONE SPACE?
