It’s fall, y’all! Yes, I realize that this is a cheesy statement usually reserved for throw pillows and Instagram captions, and I understand that the official start of fall is not technically until September 22. 

Still, it seems like a fitting title. With the leaves beginning to change shades and the apples near my house growing to be (almost) big enough to eat, I can’t help but get excited! What about you?

Not to mention that pumpkins, cinnamon, and apple cider are now going to be both plentiful and readily available to eat/drink! 

That’s convenient, because I’m sure there’s going to be a lot of harvesting going on right now. We need something to do with all those apples, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, squash, and other fall fruits and vegetables. (Speaking of which, check out one of last year’s fall posts, where we gave ideas about what to do with all the extra produce- in the form of several fun fall recipes.)

            Of course, you may not want to eat all your fall foods right now. After all, there’s only so much pumpkin pie and apple cider a body can handle, and you’ll surely want to get prepared for the coming winter months.
